♡ 37 ( +1 | -1 ) hello triangulatorMaybe this is off subject a little - but since you posted ... My wife and I have been looking for a new house - some of which have indoor pools - but they tend to be small. What would you say is the minimum size for a pool for which you can have an enjoyable swim and a decent workout? Realize this is off-chess, but I hope nobody will notice.

♡ 71 ( +1 | -1 ) um wellwe trian for the olimpics( the fake ones but still hard to get into) and we practice in a 25m pool. but I do know some adults that come to our neighborhood pool( 20yards) I ( and they) find it very good. you need to be more specific, I do morning practice in a 20 y pool, in general I would say you need 10-15 yards to be able to do laps/have fun- you need go to a pool and see what is good for you measure the pools at the houses and go swim that distance at a real pool- this will give you an idea of how it will be- if you don't want to do that 10-15 y is probably fine for adults, hope this helps- sorry, I am not very good an grammar or spelling( the funny thing is I am good at chess and a "A" student in everything else!)

♡ 25 ( +1 | -1 ) There is a famous basketball player in Israel, Oded Katash, who plays a lot of chess of ICC. He was formerly a European champion and European Player of the Year, and was drafted by the NY Knicks, but got injured and had to stop playing ball for a while.
But I'm not aware of any celebs here on GK ...
